Will and Yelena
Abigail. Again, the mention of the girl who had reassured Yelena that Will was maybe the only good guy she knew back in the world they were from. The girl who Will said thought of him as a father figure when Yelena teased him for dressing like a dad. Clearly she was an important part of Will's life. Which meant she was well worth getting to know and trying to get along with. After all, he was here, trying the same with her extended social circle.
"Okay." She wasn't feeling much of anything so far. Yelena worried about whether that meant the worm was still even dangling at the end of her line.
She hoped she wasn't giving away any trade secrets. She figured that superhero identities didn't really matter here. Besides, everyone back in their home world knew about the Avengers, so it wasn't exactly a secret. "Steve's a sweetheart. He's like..." Yelena thought about it. "A yellow lab or golden retriever." She hoped the dog breed comparison helped and wouldn't be considered insulting. "Fast, athletic, but friendly and gentle. And not overly excitable if you don't want him to be," she added with a grin and a pointed look in a certain Avenger's direction.
"Do I seem like I am?" asked Yelena, arching a brow. She didn't let Will sit with wondering for too long. "No, I'm not superhuman. Just very, very well-trained."
