Had things gone the Asgardian’s way, he would still be sparring with Yelena. Fishing was never the Thunderer’s chosen sport. On Asgard he would have likely preferred to obtain the catch with his bare hands. Even when his people were brought to settle on Midgard in Tønsberg, a fishing town, hours were far too occupied with drink and Fortnite for the God of Thunder to learn to fish. However, this afternoon, he would oblige, sensing how important this lesson was to her.
His garb these days resembled Midgard fashion. Jeans, boots and a tank top, though touches of Asgardian influence could be seen the pattern of the denim’s stitching, as well as a red logo resembling the branches of Yggdrasil across his top. He strode behind Yelena and the dogs while remaining within a six foot distance. As they approached the dock and the two figures already waiting there, Thor suddenly began to feel a fervor develop inside of him. As much of a passive activity as fishing might have been, the idea of bringing in the biggest catch was something he could take delight in.
Reaching the dock, and the others, arms were outstretched as he roared.
“Gentlemen, I hope we are all well met.” Nodding once to Bucky, with whom he was familiar, and Will, whom he wasn’t, before continuing. “The hour is nigh! Who shall retrieve the largest beast from the sea?”
It wasn’t until then that Thor would feel something off in the collective energy, and even sensed the pair of eyes currently on them. Though he was aware, he would resolve not to draw attention, simply retrieving a rod and taking his place at the dock. Mirroring the others, Thor would cast a line and wait.
