Who: Josie Saltzman and Caroline Forbes
Where: Room 606
When: The day of Caroline's arrival
What: Mom, thank God you are here!
Warnings: TBD
Josie was so happy to see her mom. While she wished her dad and her sister would show up too, she was grateful to have someone from her family here. Especially after everything that had happened when Hope commented on the network about supernaturals and leaving them alone. Caroline could make peace with anyone (she had brought out the best in Klaus Mikaleson's for God sake's) surely her mother could work her magic here too? Josie hoped so. She didn't want things to go bad and people start fighting with one another over differences no one could control. Over fear of those differences. She didn't want to be forced into a situation where she had to use her powers. Powers she was still leaning towards giving away into an object because she needed time. Time to process everything she'd done back home and the pain she had caused so many people while under the influence of dark magic. She just...hadn't because what if Hope needed her? She had to be able to be there for her friend, the friend that had risked everything to save her life. Josie paced the small recesses of her bedroom. She was nervous to see her mom, nervous to hear what her mother might say about her dark magic usage and what happened. She knew she had messed up big time and she knew there was no changing that, but what would her mother think? Her mother hadn't raised her to be that way. To feel those feelings of hate towards her sister and covet power. Oh God. What if her mother hated her? What if she didn't want anything to do with Josie? No, no, Caroline wouldn't hate her. She was her mother and no matter what she would love her. Josie had to believe that. Her dad still did after all. The knock at the door startled Josie from her thoughts and she hurried through the living room to answer it. It had to be her mom. Hopefully, she had made it through the halls unscathed. Not like she couldn't heal from it anyway. "Mom!" Josie opened the door and threw herself into her mother's arms. |
