That doesn't answer my question. Did you make any attempts to let him know that his opinions were offensive to you? Or did you get frustrated and decide to leave the conversation? Pushing someone because you don't like their opinion seems aggressive to me. Why not explain that you would like to leave unless the topic of conversation changes? Again, you're making assumptions. I never once said his act of appearing suddenly in front of you to stop you from leaving was the higher ground. All I want to do is figure out why it was things devolved into a pissing contest between the two of you.
