He was almost relieved to find out that the connection problem with Mitch seemed to be something other people were dealing with too. Noah gave him a grateful nod, particularly when he suggested that Donny get him some clothes. His relief there was two-fold: it would give him and Mitch a chance to talk and would also mean an end to the death-stares she was giving him.
When she started to talk again, Noah just sank into the bed and attempted to disappear into the furniture. He really didn't need to be here for that conversation, let alone the actual shower-shenanigans. Perish the damn thought! At least Mitch seemed to be handling the whole thing, including Donny, and when she finally left he shot the guy a small smile. "Oh, I don't know, I think she likes me," Noah said with heavy sarcasm. "It's possible one of all of us is going to die before this is done, I hope you know that!" and the chances were it would be him. Better dead than on the other side of the shower-screen!
