"Zombies." Eames echoed, with a kind of understanding that one could only have when they had absolutely no experience with such a thing. At least beyond the movies, and well he knew how it always went in cases like that, he could imagine the reality of it was somehow so much worse than anything they ever saw on screen.
But here at the hotel there didn't seem to be zombies at all, so they could both be free from that particular fear. And Dieter certainly seemed free as he made himself comfortable on Eames bed watching him change. "I'm sure lucid dreaming is where it started, but in truth I didn't have much to do with the creation of the tech, I just managed to perfect it." He said with a wink.
"We have various methods for finding out information in dreams." He explained, settling himself down beside Dieter, leaning back on one arm as he spoke, "I specialize in dream forgeries. I can project the image of anyone I've had the time to study, someone that people trust, someone they'd tell intimate details, someone they love in some cases." He shrugged. "Others use more literal methods, often people will create something like a safe in their subconscious, there are those who work to discover and then crack them."
