"Oh you know just - yeah, oh right we're doing that." He fumbled with attempting some sort of handshake turned fistbump. Being here with people like Tony and Steve and some of the other Avengers had left him feeling a little bit of that boyish exuberance he'd had when he was young and not quite so jaded. But then with the introduction of Miles, Peter was reminded he was not quite so young as he occasionally felt. Nothing like a little bit of a reminder that he was just as old an out of touch as always.
He nodded though when Miles told him he was rooming with Sam, it was better him than some of the other options he could have been stuck with. "Okay, okay right that's - yeah, Sam's good. He's in with the Avengers types." They'd had a party to welcome him and a couple others they'd known who had arrived recently too. He wondered if maybe they'd go for another party so soon, it'd be nice to introduce Miles around a bit, let him get to know some of the people Peter had been spending time with over the last few months.
He did actually attempt to stop Miles' invisible basketball, letting his former apprentice feint around him before they turned to face one another. "The arcade is great," Peter said with only a soft huff at Miles' estimate of how old the games might be. "I hang out with Tony a lot, he's got a workshop that's pretty cool, there's a pool, other spaces for entertainment around the hotel."
