"Hard not to be when you're me." He reasoned with a laugh. Sirius never took himself or most things too seriously if he was being honest, well he hadn't before everything. These days he found that maybe he took certain things a little more seriously than he had when he was younger. But something about this place made it easy to find a bit of that again. "I think you might just have a bit of a bias when it come to things like that."
He nodded when Klaus told him a little more about his family, it was strange really, someone who was so eager to tell him so much without knowing much about him in return. But he supposed considering how old Klaus apparently was such things didn't bother him quite so much as it would have someone who didn't have the same longevity. "Sounds complicated to me, but I guess that's all families." His might not be filled with vampire werewolf witches, but they had plenty of complications with witches and wizards alone.
Snorting softly, Sirius grinned shaking his head, "Oh believe me, I'm not wondering about you. I can't imagine anyone who is as old as you, or what you are being all that bothered by a little death. I'm wondering about those of us with a little less staying power." He assured him. "I think there's probably enough people here with their powers and whatever that could deal with an unkillable killer if they wanted." He was feeling surprisingly unbothered by all of this in truth. It was interesting, and maybe that was the point.
