He raised his eyebrow. "I'm sorry, you will need to be a little more specific, because I only see a very young man. You do smell nice, but that might be the fact that I haven't drank from a human since getting here. Blood bags are getting less than appetizing."
Klaus smiled. "Of course it is. It might not last as long as it did for us, but like it or not, that blood that courses through your veins makes you who you are and links you to your family, whether you like it or not. You said you are Sirius Black, but you wouldn't be that person without those who came before you." He smiled. "I never said that family doesn't let you down, just that you are tied to them."
He hadn't researched the subject obviously, but it did seem to be the case very often. "There are some exceptions. They are usually very expensive exceptions." He nodded. "But now you're here and all the traveling will be done thanks to this hotel. Maybe we'll see some of those wonderful places." Or maybe not, but if you lived long enough, everything tended to happen. You just needed to be patient.
