He hummed thoughtfully, he supposed after so long it made sense that not everything was easily remembered, particularly before he'd been made immortal, there had to be some shift there. He laughed when Klaus asked about him and Sirius scoffed holding out his arms, "Look at me." He said like that said everything, he might not be all that unique in the grand scheme of things, but as far as he was concerned he was most certainly one of a kind.
Quirking an eyebrow at Klaus when he spoke about his family, he supposed of everything out there, that was the one thing for him that had lasted. For Sirius that didn't seem to be quite so true. "I don't know if that's true for everyone." He said with a shrug, "Sometimes our friends become family when our own let us down." His parents mostly, but Regulus was something else too. Sirius didn't quite know what yet he was still figuring that out.
"I suppose you'd know better than me if that were true." he doubted it was a true law, but he could see how it was true, after all hotels were utilitarian buildings, taking the time to make them tasteful would seem superfluous to some. "I'd have liked to travel, you know after things settled down." He knew it never would happen, but if things had been different, if they could have had normal lives? Sirius knew it'd be the kind of thing he'd have loved doing.
