Taking note of the flush of color to Will's cheeks had the corner of Yelena's mouth twitching in a suppressed smile. She thought he looked good with a bit of a blush beneath that 5 o'clock shadow. "Is that on the table? Should I beg for treats?" She chuckled. "I am ready to learn fishing."
He looked down so intently at the shirt as he took it back. Yelena watched him looking it over, wondering what was going through his mind. She was about to tell him not to worry, that she laundered it prior to the return, but he made his actual point of confusion. Yelena's eyes widened slightly in surprise, not having expected to hear that.
She let her attention drop to the dogs for a moment, affording Will some privacy. It was the least she could do after barging into his space. Out of her peripheral vision, she saw the towel drop to the floor and focused harder on petting Fanny and her newfound friends.
