Who: Natasha Romanoff, Thor Odinson
What: Raincheck reunion
Where: The Bar
When: 7/30
Status: On-going
Warnings: Drinking!
Though the main floor's watering hole was nearly empty at the moment, the entrance of the Thor Odinson somehow managed to pull the air in his direction as he made stride to the bar's counter. A moment of noticeable banter between the brawny Asgardian and the bartender seemed to go back and forth extraneously until he was eventually granted a large stein of mead. He'd remain standing at the bar despite there being no shortage of available seats. Was it early? Perhaps, and the saying it's five o'clock somewhere never rang truer. Not merely because it was nearing the seventeenth hour of the day, but it also felt an appropriate disclaimer to the sight of the alien Avenger, upright and drinking at a bar that still had yet to pick up for happy hour. The Thunderer's sturdy hand gripped the large mug, bringing it up in a toast (to no one apparently, maybe the bartender?) before continuing to the lips to take a long gulp.
Odinson was a pair of days into his stay at the Crown Plaza, and still gathering his bearings in many ways, but he was comforted by a moment of relaxation and the crisp drink cooling his insides. While he was mostly resigned to his fate, existing in this shared residential establishment for the time being. But there were still so many questions of how all of this came to be, and in particular how he was now able to cross paths with those he considered dead. Especially curious being that none of he currently reanimated were Asgardian. There was Loki, of course, but this Loki was different, which brought on another host of questions in itself. The verdict of whether those questions would be answered during an impending rendezvous with Natasha was still out, but Thor welcomed the chance to catch up with an old friend at the very least.
Soon enough, the creek of an opening door signaled the opportunity to do just that. Pivoting feet turned Thor to the door, allowing Thor to watch Natasha's approach with a full deadpan.
"Pardon my expression, but I believe I've just seen a ghost."
