Going from settling in at her and Arthur's still new home at the edge of Ottery St Catchpole in Devon, England to some strange haunted hotel on a small island off the coast of Scotland may not seem all that far in distance when compared to the distance traveled some of the other inhabitants of Crown Plaza. It was the time traveling piece that boggled her mind. She was starting to wrap her head around the logistics now, keeping all the facts straight, but it was still absolutely mad to her to think that she was going to be getting to know her son, daughter, and grandson here. Plus Sirius, who was a kid in the timeline she left behind.
Still, it could be worse, she supposed. So far, the place didn't seem half bad. There were treats and drinks popping up around the hotel. They were all free, as far as Molly could tell. Most things she needed were provided for here. All that was missing to make her situation complete here was Arthur, who was nowhere to be found.
It didn't seem like her new husband was going to show up in her new new home anytime soon. Molly didn't know if she should be trying harder to get back to the world she knew. Efforts to force or magic her way out so far proved unsuccessful. There was some kind of invisible barrier, by sea or air, that prevented her from leaving. Each time she made any attempt to escape, she seemed to black out and then wake up back in her bedroom again.
She couldn't help but wonder what her future family was like, though. Or people she knew were from her world. When she realized she couldn't leave, Molly did the next best thing and explored her surroundings. Initially, there was a lot to see. She went downstairs in search of the library, but ended up one level below and wandering by the lounge instead. She walked by and then doubled back when she noticed the lounge wasn't as empty as it first looked.
