She knew that helping Reiner stay wouldn't change what happened in their world, but at least a version of him got to enjoy a free life. "I don't know if they are stacked in our favor, but at least everything isn't decided for us. We get to decide what we do, how we dress, who our friends are without governments dictating those choices for us."
