If he had a nickle every time he heard he was a sweet boy, he'd likely have a whole ass nickle, though he'd of appreciated the sentiment nonetheless. Mostly he tried to do right by those in his circle and did his best to take care of his people. Now as a soldier, he was alright on that front. He held his own. "It's sounds lovely. I hope you are able to see your home again." Octane offered with a smile.
That was a common factor for the pair. Cutting ties with the woman also known as Elektra, and Octavio wasn't sure he was even done with her- just sad. Not that he was remotely close to the woman, but he felt for those who just felt such distance and distrust of others. Regardless of that, he wasn't eager to put his trust in someone who was so quick to toss him aside like discarded trash.
"Some of them were." Octane confirmed as he looked at the surface of his tea. When she asked if he was a god, he couldn't help the little chuckle as he shook his head. "No, I reckon that we come from two very different times and space." He looked to Xian with a smile. "Our cities were held aloft with repulsion technology that keeps them afloat." He paused in thought. "I'm sure, knowing the people who made these cities, they were probably full of themselves enough to want to be up among the gods. Who knows." He shrugged casually while sipping the tea.
A sly smirk crept across his lips. "I'm sure the horns would bring out my eyes and accent my legs." He laughed softly. "But I assure you, if I want them to think twice, I'm very capable on giving them reason." Leaving his sly smile in place. "In a place filled with magic like this, I am an odd man out. No magic to be had." He paused half a beat.
