"Sometimes. I've been working on it. It helps when you have friends who have other talents that let them save people." That usually involved telling Scott or Stiles or even Malia, letting the wolves know of what danger she'd predicted. "I don't always see things in clear messages, so sometimes figuring it out is just as difficult." She did grin when Mikasa indicated she clearly knew how to fight and put an arm around her shoulder in a friendly gesture.
"We are going to be good friends, I think. And it can make a difference what you're wearing. You can usually do a base first, then put on the colors later. Let's see." She took out her foundation and drew a small line on Mikasa's arm. Then, she took the foundation Mikasa was given and did the same. "Looks like whomever sent you this meant it for you. See? The color on this one better matches your skin. That's important; you don't want the color of your face to be different from the rest of you. Testing on your arm or hand is a good trick."
Lydia looked to the young soldier beside her, tilting her head in thought. "Have you ever painted anything? Putting on foundation can be a lot like that. Here, watch for a moment, then see if you can copy me." Expertly, Lydia took her own foundation and brushed it onto her face. "You'll want to go with your cheek bones and don't cake it on. Especially if you wind up getting sweaty, that's just not pretty at all. Been there before. Think you can try?"
