Sirius didn't make a habit of running around as Padfoot most of the time, but after the weekend of no clothes it had turned into something he'd needed to do, well he could have probably spelled something to work, but it was just easier to run around on four legs than it was to deal with that. And sure they had their clothes back now but he could still wander around from time to time on four legs.
Which was how he found himself wandering into the kitchen that day, initially planning on finding something to eat before he made his way outside to lay in the sun for a bit. Sure being a dog wasn't exactly the most incredible magic out there, but he could get away with things like this, and it was hard to beat laying in the sun.
Instead of wandering into the kitchen and fining it empty there was a man there, and more surprisingly another dog. It had him pulling to a stop as soon as he noticed sitting back on his haunches, head tilted to one side as he took in the pair. He could smell food, something fresh, raw no doubt, which wasn't exactly his favorite, but he'd been known to make a meal of just about anything on nights when they'd run with Remus.
But this was something else entirely, and Sirius should probably shift back, but hadn't really been prepared to talk with anyone just yet, so instead he just watched them.
