"Oh indeed, sug," Rogue replied with a light laugh and a shrug. They didn't need to go into that conversation, especially since he didn't seem entirely comfortable with the topic, so she let that hang for a moment before she focused on the next part of what he was saying. Her own smile faded at that, and Rogue gave a nod of understanding. Her own scars had healed because she'd been forced to use someone's healing factor whenever she'd gotten close to death - but some people didn't have that ability and Will was obviously one of them.
When he dropped to start petting the dog, a grin pulled at Rogue's features and she drifted over a little more slowly, this time holding a gloved hand out to the dog. "You've got a pretty smart girl here. She picks up on how you're feeling pretty easily, it looks like." Winston was a safer conversation topic, right?
