Natasha + John
He raised an eyebrow at the bottle Natasha brought out and chuckled as he pulled a bottle of her favourite vodka out of his pocket and slid it over to her. "Great minds, eh?" he said with a grin, "though that could use a bit of time in the freezer," he admitted taking the scotch from her.
"I'd never thought I'd get to meet Yelena," he said as he watched Natasha scan the room, "must have been quite the shock for you...for both of you," John said sliding her a curious look. Since her sister arrived he'd given Nat space to deal with her family matters, not putting pressure on her to talk about it unless she wanted to. He wouldn't change that now. Their relationship had been built on trust and also understanding of their mutually complicated pasts.
His eyes found hers and he smiled, "oh aye, I've found something good alright," he answered moving around the bar and slipping an arm around her shoulders and giving the top of her head a gentle kiss. "Could do a lot worse than having Captain America for a buddy, couldn't I?" John said with a teasing lilt, "not to mention a few other people around these parts. You. For example," he said squeezing Natasha tight.
