"They are useless!" Yelena exclaimed, throwing her hands up into the air at the absurdity of it all. "It has only the one purpose. Cutting out the cores of apples. Not pears. Not peaches. Only apples." She shook her head. "Lazy."
She hadn't actually thought actively about whether or not she would stay if given a choice. At least until she said it. Then it seemed obvious. Like it was the only possible answer that made sense to Yelena. And in a way, it was.
"Yes, I think so," she said quietly. "Whatever that reason is remains to be seen, but I think I would like to stay here with my sister."
