Zemo winced as Bucky cleaned that cut on his arm. The baron was used to pain, but it stung and he really wasn't in a position to put up a front. So instead of pretending like it didn't bother him, he hissed out a curse and squeezed the edge of the sink.
"Maybe we don't need to tell him immediately. Give him some time to get settled at the hotel first. But I do think that, eventually, it should be brought up. Honesty is the best policy, in cases like this. I also think it should be you that breaks it to him, but only because I don't think he'd believe me if I told him."
Though that begged the question of what, exactly, they should tell Sam. Zemo wasn't even really sure what to call.. whatever this was. Zemo wasn't exactly itching to stick a label on anything. He didn't really see Bucky as his boyfriend, but it wasn't as simple as 'friends with benefits' either. Zemo hadn't even really pushed for said benefits yet. So where did that leave them?
"You're right, though. Sam is sharp. He's bound to pick up on something. Perhaps just tell him it's a casual fling? Downplay it? Though I am sure he'll still look at you like you've lost your mind." The same way Sam had looked at Bucky after Zemo had 'sprung himself' out of prison in Berlin.
The baron then tilted his head, leaning in and brushing the tip of his nose against Bucky's. "We don't have to tell him at all, you know, if it's too much --"
