Sirius had to work not to roll his eyes at the idea that some sort of family bond was why he'd be better off staying here. His brother certainly had a way of laying things out as he talked through what the rest of Sirius' life would be like if he did go back. "I wasn't the one who removed me from the family." He said instead of rising to the taunt about Bellatrix, because at the end of the day it didn't really matter did it? It had happened, why shouldn't he be there for it?
Regulus looked every bit the sort of pure blood son his mother had wanted him to be as his robes practically swirled around him before he sat down. He was ready with a barb about Regulus' death coming down to his own poor choices, and in truth that's what he'd felt when he heard - his brother had been so dead set on a certain path nothing seemed to be able to change that and in the end it had killed him. But he listened all the same as Regulus told him about Kreacher and Voldemort and the foolhardy idea that Regulus could have killed the man on his own.
"Is it important or do you just not want to learn how to do anything for yourself?" He asked, as if he hadn't been relying on others to help him with meals since he'd arrived. The point remained of course as far as Sirius was concerned.
Still Sirius sat across from his brother not sure what the point of all of this was. "So what is it we're supposed to talk about then? My staying here?" He asked.
