"Because unlike you, I've always believed in family and the family bond," he answered without missing a beat. "You can go back and be stuck in Azkaban for another six, seven years depending on when you exactly arrived from, then run from two years, then be stuck at the house for a year and then die. Really, do you want to be there when Bellatrix kills you? I'd think that you'd stay here just to avoid giving her the satisfaction."
He walked to the chair and turned around, making his robes billow with the perfect spell, before he sat down. "Since I'm coming from about two minutes before my death and any trip back home would kill me, I think I should tell you how I died." Normally he wouldn't share, because Sirius was the worst with secrets, but after being paranoid for weeks the first time, he knew that it was irrelevant.
"Kreacher found out how the Dark Lord was gaining immortality. He did so when the Dark Lord decided that he was expendable. The bastard forgot all about house-elf magic. He tried to kill Kreacher," he hissed. "Kreacher shared the information with me and I tried to kill the Dark Lord. Apparently he had more of those horcruxes- pieces of his soul hidden in objects so your mate was able to bring him back. Now that's out of the way, do sit so we can talk like civilized people. I'd ask Kreacher for tea, but unfortunately he's not here. I'm hoping the hotel understands how important it is to bring him here."
