Regulus was there, at the hotel and Sirius wasn't entirely certain what to do with that knowledge. They hadn't spent any real time together since they'd been boys and now they were here in a space that was too small to truly avoid one another, at least in a way that wouldn't be horribly annoying. So he supposed he was going to have to talk with Regulus, see if they could find a way to be - not together, but at least at peace with one another. Though he wasn't sure such a thing was possible, their lives had taken such opposite directions he wasn't sure if there was truly a way back from that.
But just because he knew they'd need to sit down and talk didn't mean he was being proactive about making it happen, so when a knock came to his door he wasn't expecting Regulus on the other side of the door letting himself in the second the door was open widely enough for him to fit through.
Quirking an eyebrow as Regulus began he gave his brother a level look. "I can't imagine why you want me to stay if your life would be so much better without me here." He said shaking his head, he didn't understand his brother. He thought maybe he had once upon a time, when they'd been boys, but after he'd gone to Hogwarts things changed, he'd made new friends, and they'd pulled away from one another and now here they were each of them the product of the decisions they'd made and he wasn't sure what that meant for them moving forward.
