It was hard to say what John was all about. There were those weird points in history that he had encountered the X-Men and fought with them or even weirder their goals aligned with each other. Rarely, but it could. Since arriving here and crossing paths with Rogue, not his Rogue but a Rogue, he realized how heavily things were going to be different here. The lines of villain and hero blurred quickly and he now knew that his departure from the land of living and being plopped right here was a blessing and a half. Something that allowed him the sudden freedom that he wasn’t sure he had previously.
Even if it was self serving mental incarceration when he was living. At least he went out with a bang.
But now, now he had people here he didn’t think he’d see ever again and interact with. Bobby who he would dig at consistently, because they were like ice and fire metaphorically and literally. Now Kitty. Oh how Kitty Pryde sent him for a whirl. He wasn’t sure how he felt about hat. The way they dug at each other was like nothing they had before. It was like the moment Shadowcat arrived, it was a mutual need to mess with the other. The banter was natural and most of all, it was fun.
With a challenge laid out, even if he wasn’t sure he was completely serious, John was eager for the fun to come. Knowing who he was up against and knowing that she was not the same woman that he knew in his life, there were more tricks coming than he’d know. For most of the morning, he padded about his room, still in the nude because why the fuck not and the hotel made it so- St. John decided it was time. Kitty would come for him sooner or later and he’d rather get on with the fun than wait. Leaving his room he moved down the hall and stopped. It was like a sixth sense skipped across his brain. Looking around it was more a notion of where she’d come from. “Alright, luv..” Pyro muttered looking up and down. She was here. He knew she was.
