Ginny liked his laugh. "The only thing missing is someone telling scary stories."
She knew before he pointed it out that she was nowhere near the kitchen. Panic does strange things to people, and in her haste to not be seen she kept running until she couldn't hear anyone following her. "If this whole naked thing keeps up, some people might just decide starving to death is better than letting people see them naked." Which was a little ridiculous. Despite how she was acting now, she would probably be willing to suck it up and just go about her business if it came down to modesty or surviving. "You're welcome." She hoped he knew she meant it. She rarely gave out compliments to people in the first place so it was kind of a big deal to her that she did. "I know. I kept going down the stairs until I was sure that I was alone."
She watched him sit down. "You sure you don't mind sharing your hiding spot with me?" She felt like it would be nice to rest for a bit. And she was finding him to be easy to talk to. "Well, if I'm staying, then I'm sitting down, too."
