Bev couldn't help noticing the resemblance to Bill when the man turned and she saw his face. That might have been what Bill looked like at that age; they hadn't seen each other between their teen years and their forties so she couldn't be certain. Fortunately, she had seen another Bill-look-alike back when she was new at the hotel, so it wasn't a complete shock.
"No, you're not in my way." Bev sat down on the edge, finding a spot close enough for conversation and not too close to be awkward, given the nudity. She copied him and lowered her legs into the pool. "I was going to ask why you're alone at a party, but catching up on your meals is a good reason." She tended to seek out those on their own, and give them company; she'd done so since she was a teen greeting the new kid at school. It was a good way to make friends. "Especially if that means you're over the shock of all the missing clothes."
