It was true enough that Levi wasn't overly chatty -- he'd just never seen a reason for it, although he was pretty good at surrounding himself and making friends with people who were plenty talkative. It wasn't like he minded it. So instead of respond, he only smiled slightly, like he was making a joke of it.
"I'm from a different world," he said after a moment -- Erwin tended to talk more on this than he did, but it wasn't as if Levi wouldn't if prompted. "There is no magic or technology like there is here. Humanity lived in a small space behind tall walls, because beyond them were Titans -- people eating giants." That was putting it simply, these days. There were politics now, new information about what Paradis really was -- but for someone on the outside, it was a good start. So he'd seen some shit. And in order to kill those Titans, Levi had mastered heights. There were worse things than a fall.
"Let's try," he suggested, although he didn't much like being compared to a child even if he was about as tall as one who was barely into their teens.
