Xianniang was capable of figuring out this world. By observing others and experimentation, there wasn't anything she could not master the basics of. But it was so much nicer to have someone around who could manipulate ...kindly so.... into assistance.
Elektra, who had been as sour as the day they met on every day forward, had proven to be a useful aide nontheless. It was fun to tease her but Xian knew the other woman had her limits and did her best to not push her past them. She did not want to admit it but she was growing fond of the woman's presence. Perhaps it was from being alone for so long, she was starved for any sort of attention. Even a bitter fruit tasted sweet to the hungry man.
So she used any excuse to lure Elektra out of hiding.
Including help with simple tasks.
Coffee was something that Xianniang enjoyed very much of. When she discovered the machines in the kitchen that could make them (and so quickly!), her first thought had been to call for Elektra. It pleased her to see the other woman agreeing and without too much fuss. When she arrived, the smile on her face was genuine. "You look comfortable," she noted as she walked around the island towards her.
