"I can cook what Gran can cook, which is pretty extensive. I learned a few other things just to show off, because why wouldn't I?" he said, laughing. "If you want something, let me know and I'll make it. I ahve to cook for myself anyway, so I might make a little extra."
Jamie chuckled. "Hagrid loved it too, although he looked a little ridiculous on it. It's a good thing that you enchanted it, because if he had to drive it the Muggle weight, he'd have broken it with his weight." The question seemed so strange to him, not because he hadn't been preparing most of his life, but because he knew how well his father had done his job. "Nah. Dad likes to be prepared for everything. He's been training us to deal with all sorts of things since we were children, but there hasn't been any sigh of Dark Magic in decades. The last real arrest was before I was born. There have been a few idiots trying, but they got caught before anything happened. Dad is in charge of the DMLE, so all divisions keep an eye on things, but the Auror division is so small nowadays, because it's a boring ob."
Jamie sighed. "Dad drinks a lot around the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, then pretends that it didn't happen." He sat on the chair and started to see how it worked. "The only good thing here is that it doesn't seem like you can die."
