"Huh," Sirius said wonderingly while Jamie explained how he'd learned how to cook. "So you can make just about anything then?" He asked, clearly interested, kitchen magic had never been a top priority for him, and he couldn't exactly imagine it becoming so here, but he was curious all the same. Maybe he'd have turned out able to cook even if James and Lily had survived, Lily had been muggleborn after all. But it was hard to imagine.
He grinned hugely when Jamie told him the bike still survived, "Oh brilliant, I loved that bike, always wanted to ride it no matter what we were doing." He admitted with a laugh. Listening as Jamie told him about his Aunt the Minister and Harry both thinking about another potential war - he knew that sort of thing stayed with them, it had to if they were preparing for something that wasn't even happening by everything that Jamie had told him already. "Do you think there will be another war?" He asked interested in Jamie's opinion on the matter.
Sirius winced when Jamie mentioned James who had been drowning his sorrows since he'd arrived, no amount of talk had been able to drag him out of it. "No, it's not." He agreed, "We should try and get him to come round soon." Sirius got it of course, why James was feeling so lost, everything that he knew now was a lot to take on, but if he didn't figure things out soon he'd be joining Lily soon if he kept on.
