It was true that Armitage wasn't the most graceful of people around -- but he tried and that had to count for something. Though probably not surfing. Still, it was admirable that he'd offered to do something that took more than five minutes in the water.
Poe glanced up at where his husband was glaring and twitched a smile over it. That moody look wasn't focused on the board so much as the beach. He shifted a little, balancing himself just so until he could sit down on his board, feet in the water, and then offered a helpful hand to get Armitage up there too. It was a little rocky, but they could do it.
"You're jealous," he said, biting the inside of his bottom lip with another smile.
