Bev raised an eyebrow. "Reading?' She knew Dan wasn't the type for loud parties, or anything in excess. Still, the resort had so much more to offer than books. She walked over closer to him, shaking her head with a gentle smile. "That won't do. You can read when we get back to the hotel." She'd had that same feeling that their trip wouldn't last.
"We should experience the resort together." Bev suggested, hoping he wouldn't refuse. The large crowds must be hard for him; the more people, the more thoughts around. The other Dan had described it as loud. That ruled out the busy shops and the clubs. She had to think of other options. "There's the ferry to Isla Mujeres, jet skis, scuba diving, a jungle to explore, or finding a good place to sit and enjoy the views here."
