After a surprisingly busy first day at the resort, Dan had determined that he could not hide completely in his room for however long they would be there. He knew they would return; could feel it in the back of his mind where his shine tended to passively linger, observing time around him. He did not fall into some kind of comfort level that others had, as they enjoyed the social aspects of the resort, but not fit any other reason than he was not overly social unless he was in some drunken stupor. Dan could hold conversations easily but did not go out of his way to start them.
So by the late morning, early afternoon, he had finally come out of his room to wander.
Blue eyes lifted from the ground to the voice calling out to him. A subtle smile on his lips, he waved at Beverly. "It's going fine. I spent it reading mostly."
