Rey moved to sit down in front of him but immediately turned to keep walking instead. She was a little too full of energy to sit. Restless would have been putting it mildly. She walked in a complete circle before finally sitting in front of him.
Her body might have been still, but her mind was racing, and her fingers tapped on her knees. "So, Ben told me my grandfather was Palpatine," she started. "Then died. Then came back. Then Poe left for a little bit. Then came back from his future... And now Ben, Poe, and Armitage are gone and I don't feel like I'm handling it very well."
The hotel, when it wasn't acting up, was a very uneventful place that lent itself to long bouts of self-reflection if you weren't too careful. Long stretches of quiet also allowed doubt and fear to grow inside, and she had been distracting herself instead of attempting to learn how to properly cope. "I can't stop worrying about them being in trouble and being unable to help." She trusted that all three men were capable of handling themselves, but she couldn't help but want to be there.
"Or that they won't be coming back." She felt incredibly stupid for that last one. That had been the nature of the hotel since they'd arrived. They could all be 'sent home' at any moment. The thought made her heart feel like it was going to implode in her chest. It was out of her control. But that wasn't the control she was worried about.
