It hadn't escaped Luke's notice that half the hotel had disappeared overnight -- even if he hadn't felt the difference in the force it was pretty obvious. It was quieter. Less crowded. The networks were less chatty -- not that he was very talkative there ever.
It also hadn't escaped his notice that most of Rey's friends were the ones that were missing. And his own, too. Ben, Din and the others could take care of themselves but that didn't mean he didn't worry.
"Morning, Rey," he returned her greeting and moved to sit in the middle of the clearing, saying nothing else. She had something to say, and silence was as much of an invitation to go on as anything else.
