It was no secret to anyone that Rey's emotions had been for a ride in the last month or so. At least, it wasn't for anyone who could feel them. While the confession from Ben had rocked her, there was the feeling of him disappearing. Then he came back and Poe disappeared, and now they were both gone along with Armitage. She thought she'd have time to sort out her feelings and settle, but the hotel continuously tested her.
She arrived at practice, diligent as ever. It was one of the few times of the day she could actually distract herself. And the more she went to her lessons the more hope she had to coming close to being able to control herself instead of letting them sweep her into a tidal wave.
It was stressful with the combined knowledge of being a Palpatine, even with the reassurances given her. She looked to Anakin knowing what he would become and Ben knowing what he had been. How much easier would it be for her? She was told she defeated Palpatine, but she hadn't gotten down to the specifics, because she didn't think it was important.
Now that he was gone again, the anxiety was starting to set in. She could still feel Finn and that was enough to keep her grounded for now, along with Ari and 9E being around. She just had to wait a few hours, right? But...Ben and Armitage didn't have a future to live out...
Stepping out into the clearing, she took looked at her master and rubbed at her arm. "Morning, Master." The greeting was weighted. There was clearly more she wanted to say.
