Marinette was pretty proud of the final product. Well, it still needed to bake, but she was pretty sure the croissants were going to come out perfect this time. Not only that, but she actually got to teach Adrien how to make them. Something she didn't think ever would happen. Especially not at home since Adrien had to live under such strict rules. At least he was free here and she got to hang out with him and teach him how to bake. And she was staring until it finally hit her that he spoke. "Oh, yeah, you're welcome."
While the croissants baked, she started to clean up Adrien's other attempts at them. "I'm doing okay," she told him as she kept herself busy cleaning. She did stop when he mentioned not having friends here or his friends. "I miss my parents, and Alya, and everyone else." She stopped what she was doing and turned to face him. "So, I get it." She looked up. "Is it wrong of me to wish that they would show up here?" She knew what this place was capable of. But she also missed having everyone around.
