It didn't make sense to him, how this place could bring the dead. But a lot of this place didn't make sense to Isaac, and having Allison here made him not want to question it at all. He would just accept it as the gift it was and hold on to her as long as he possibly could.
"Erica?"
It was hard to explain his feelings towards Erica. She'd been his packmate. His sister. Family, but more than family too. He couldn't explain the bond to someone who wasn't a werewolf, but it touched him that she knew that Erica was important to him, regardless.
"I wish I'd been here for that. I'd like to see her again."
When she pulled back, he raised a hand to caress her cheek.
"I don't remember being here," he said softly. "But I'm glad I'm here too." If only because she was. He didn't need another reason.
