If sorcerers could live by their own rules, then Asgardians surely did as well. Particularly Loki. Zemo gave a little nod, indicating he knew were Loki was going with that question. "I do, yes. But I guess that's what has me so interested in your relationship. Is it not frustrating for you, being with someone whose morals are so vastly different from your own? Unless.. they're not all that different?"
Wouldn't that be a fascinating detail? If Doctor Strange didn't fit into the same category of 'good' as the Avengers? Or maybe Zemo had it backwards. Perhaps, this Loki wasn't really all that 'bad'. Not that either of these labels meant a great deal. As Zemo had contemplated during his evening with Will Graham, good and bad were arbitrary anyway. And perhaps, the Crown Plaza was just the sort of bizarre place where anything could happen; including someone who had been deemed a hero marrying another who had been marked a villain.
Maybe, Bucky hadn't been lying after all when he claimed the hotel to be neutral ground. "I am not trying to be critical of your relationship. I am just curious, that's all."
