Octavio and Abra
"I didn't have tutors and nannies." Abra commented. "I had my parents and Dan. They weren't grumpy." Dan was quieter than her, almost withdrawn. She never saw that as bad, only different. "I used my shine to stay in touch with him. I thought he was my imaginary friend when I was young."
Abra grinned and nodded, glad he understood. The worst ones had to be fought. There was no other way.
"A zip-zip is telepathy, when you talk to someone else by sending them your thoughts instead of out loud. It can be words or pictures or a feeling." Abra explained. She shrugged. "I guess. I am more used to ghosts than other people. There are times when it's hard though. Like when it's too loud, or there's nightmares, or deathflies, or accidental earthquakes."
