"No, not by yelling. You can talk to it, and it will transcribe what you say. You can also use the on-screen keyboard to type, but that took me a while to figure out. Talking might be better to start with," he said, knowing that Draco wouldn't find any of this helpful. "It takes a bit of practice, and honestly I still don't entirely know how it works--my friend Senku could probably explain--but they're useful little things. You can talk to anyone in the hotel, comment on their posts. I spent a lot of time reading through past posts when I got here, learning what I could about this place."
Theo grinned. "That's good because I'm not your house-elf and I won't' wait on you, but I will show you around the kitchen and help you help yourself. There aren't any house-elves or servants here. If you want to eat, you'll have to do it yourself." He paused, then shook his head almost in disbelief at his next words. "I know how to make an omelet now, and various types of sandwiches. Thankfully, there are often leftovers in the coldbox that others have left and marked as available. Lots of people here cook more than they can eat themselves, so no one has gone hungry that I know about." At least, not after his first few days here when he hadn't managed anything more than plain toast and burnt eggs.
"Come on. I'll try to explain on the way to the kitchens."
