Duncan looked down at the man and the jar beside him. "It's a start at least." Part of him wondered how one person could make such a mess looking for something so simple, but part of him knew that when he'd first landed in the hotel he didn't know as much about this kitchen set-up either. But he had at least known the basics and once he'd figured out how the range and oven worked, he was pretty well set.
"You are in luck though. I was coming down here for the same thing." He squatted down with practised ease and scooped up the bread before returning easily to his feet. "Except for the jam. I don't like whatever fruit that is." He nodded at the jar then stepped around the mess on the floor to the counter.
Once he had the water going and the toaster set up he began to quietly picked up the various discarded items. After a few moments, he looked down at the man again. "What kind of tea were you looking for?"
