"I guess," Regulus mumbled and crossed his arms, trying to not feel so alone and out of place in this kitchen. He supposed muggles had to eat, too. But that didn't mean Regulus had to like this kitchen.
"Yes- no," he said. "The house-elves made the food." He was really missing Kreacher, his family's house-elf, right now, and not just because he was hungry. He really hoped the elf was... well, no, Kreacher probably wasn't okay after what happened in the cave. And it wasn't like his mother and father would be kind to the elf.
He really missed Kreacher for so many reasons right now.
"And..." he admitted quietly. "It's not like my mother would let me learn a house-elf's task." That hadn't been a problem until now. But knowing how to at least toast bread would have been nice.
