"Jamie said there was a war," Sirius said as Neville told him things had changed in his own time too, a war would do that. Just like it had for them. But the war had never made it to Hogwarts, not like it seemed to for Harry and his friends.
Sirius hadn't known Trelawny, but he could just imagine a divination professor enjoying being able to make prophecies for her students, particularly one like Harry who had been so miraculous before he'd ever even gone to Hogwarts. "I suppose that's to be expected all things considering, when it comes to Harry." He reasoned. "Never did believe much in prophecy myself." He admitted. "Milk and Sugar," Sirius said of his tea, he was still going heavy on the sugar now that it was available to him, hoping it'd help stave off the nightmares that plagued his sleep.
Recovering wasn't perfect, but that meant things were stable enough to let them rebuild again, and that was a good sign. "Normal is good, I don't even remember what normal is anymore." He admitted with a soft huff, a little amused, but mostly sad over that fact, "But it's good that people are starting to find that again, it's - it's what we all wanted you know, back before ... well before you were born probably." He shook his head, Neville was maybe older than him, maybe the same age, Sirius wasn't sure, but he'd gone to school with Harry, he'd known him and now here he was, grown.
