Sirius was still working on getting his bearings, he still wasn't sleeping properly, waking up screaming more than he or he imagined his roommate might have liked, but he was doing his best. He'd done that again in the wee small hours and decided rather than try and go back to sleep and risk it happening again he'd just get up and wander around the hotel a bit while it was still fairly quiet, maybe see what new things he could find. This place wasn't quite as big as Hogwarts but it certainly had plenty to offer.
What he really needed was a wand, but he didn't have that - they'd taken it from him ages ago, but maybe he'd find one again here? He didn't know. Point was he was exploring the hotel that morning, and see what he could find as he padded down the stairs toward the lower floors which held most of the more interesting rooms when he stopped dead in his tracks.
"James?" He asked his throat going dry as he looked at his friend standing there, bleeding and frantic looking like.... gods no, like he'd just been living that night. That horrible night that had sent Sirius' life spiraling. "James, it's okay." He moved toward him hands out reached unable to help himself as he practically crashed into him hugging him in a death grip careless of the blood he'd seen or anything else. James was here and alive and just, gods Sirius didn't think he knew how to say what this was.
"How long have you been here?" He asked without pulling away immediately. "What do you remember, tell me?" It was only then as he realized they needed to have a conversation that he pulled back letting James have just a little bit of space.
