Thor had done this on ice once before, more or less with knives strapped to his feet, so this would be very different. He hadn't missed the change in Diana's expression, but given that she seemed very... put off by something he'd said or done, he let it go and focused on staying upright. She really was the superior among them, in many ways, and this would be one more. There was no shame in it. She couldn't do many of the things he could. They complemented each other's weaknesses. At least, in a lot of ways, if not all. He would have been thrilled to know her mind was seemingly in a very similar place.
With four wheels on his feet, in two rows, instead of a single straight blade like before, it was easier to stay upright. Diana taking his hand like that surprised him, but it didn't knock him off balance like he might have expected if he'd known she was going to try. As they floated around the room, ignoring anything else in the world that could come between them, he laced their fingers together like she'd done in the room the day before.
As ever, he immediately felt better being close to her. Maybe he was being stupid and this was what she really wanted, not this Kal. Not that Kal hadn't presented himself as friendly and kind, but it was... not something Thor wanted to think about. Thor still really had no idea how deep this bond between them really went, after everything they'd been through.
