Loki had an idea of how the other version of him had died and was, frankly, a little disappointed with how poor of a story it was. This version, personally, would never have gone at Thanos without a plan and, more importantly, some kind of devil deal in order to come back. Case in point, here he was now, very much alive.
Then again that sort of thing didn't seem to matter within the constraints of the hotel, because so was Thor, very much alive. Loki twitched a smile over it.
"Ah, good." Loki said of Diana -- although he was bemused over Thor's reaction. Were they unaware of their own coupling? It was possible. Strange hadn't been particularly clever about it either, to start. That'd be a thing to watch in the future, he decided, if only because it was funny.
"Away," Loki repeated with mirth. "Off vacationing in Valhalla, were you?" He digressed. "Strange was, and probably always be, more than what I deserve." In this, Loki was honest.
