Eddie didn't acknowledge the sniffling except to nuzzle in just a little bit closer. It was his turn to cling a bit, shifting just enough to pull out and then snaking his arms around Richie and refusing to move much otherwise.
"Shut the fuck up Richie." The words probably would have sounded harsh in other circumstances but the way Eddie said them now, he might as well have been saying I love you again. Richie could probably even feel the smile against his neck.
He kept them like that for a few minutes, longer than he'd ever stayed in that sort of state before. Partly because he was just that sated, but also because Richie had a way of making him feel calm and safe even in situations that would normally bother him. But eventually, that dirty-but-satisfied feeling led more into just gross and sticky and Eddie carefully separated himself before rolling off of Richie and onto his back on the bed next to him. "I'm really glad I've got two beds. We might have to just burn these sheets."
