"Uncle Charlie would seriously have words about that," he said. "I think people are idiots if they think that going after ills that don't really exist make up for their failures. The fears and guilt will always stay with you, because you know what's true and not true. Unless they are all delusional and like to lie to themselves," he said with a shrug. "Now, now, are these things you should say about the Saviour of the wizarding world? People would be so very disappointed in you."
He shook his head. "On the contrary, she's not pissed at all, and you'll find that as Minister, she can access everything. It's her job. She might be losing her patience with my Uncle Ron and my Dad complaining all the time that they can't keep an eye on you lot if they don't know what's going on. There's a family bet on who will hex the other first." He smiled, but it was a much softer (and fake) one, because if Nott thought that his father only did what he wanted, he had no idea who the Chosen One really was. "My father does what needs to be done. He does the right thing. Always. He doesn't need re-dos in alternate realities."
Jamie shrugged. "Or we can not kill them. We can stun them and leave them. You basically said that nothing will matter. I'm not casting dark spells to kill someone when it has no impact. That's just ridiculous."
